Our Model

Insight

Brahmavid- The Global School follows a four pronged model which focuses in parallel on the application of Multiple Intelligence based techniques, using Design Thinking approach for problem-solving, Integrated/Project Based learning set up and extensive use of ICT to create an effective learning environment.

Insight

Multiple Intelligence

We use Howard Gardner's 'Multiple Intelligence Theory' as the guide to build a diversified learning environment to empower students and blend the dominant intelligence with the other cognitive and non-cognitive factors.

We also believe in the extensive and egalitarian conceptualization of giftedness. In simple terms, giftedness is not limited to few students. We sincerely believe that every student has some innate and unique potential and the school facilitates increased access to gifted education programs for all students.

Insight

We have adopted Renzulli's three-ring conception of giftedness i.e creative-productive giftedness as the theoretical rationale for defining, identifying, and serving gifted students. Creative-productive giftedness is something that can be cultivated within students because of its unique manifestation as the intersection between above average ability, creativity, and task commitment.

Insight

Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences provides a theoretical foundation for recognizing the different abilities and talents of students. With progression, those natural talents are tapped, validated and nurtured to achieve EXCELLENCE.

Design Thinking

We at Brahmavid let students to face challenges & solve authentic real-world problems while learning and using 'Design Thinking Methodology' and critical thinking.

Insight

Students use various techniques like brainstorming, observing, interviewing, mind mapping and storytelling using notes, photography, and video to define the problem, research, ideate, rapid prototyping and choose & implement the solution. They learn from the outcome and work to improve them. The students work in small squads which bring out the magic of diversity in teams.

Insight

We provide an environment where importance is attached to an honest attempt to succeed in a task and not on the outcome itself, thus during the process failure is embraced and not demeaned. Playing, laughing, presenting, having fun is encouraged at all times.

Integrated/Project Based Learning

We follow an integrated approach towards learning which means that learning is not compartmentalized into subjects, topics or text books. Our academic planning exercise involves an extensive review of the curriculum to integrate the points between various subjects and bring in the focus on the big idea, including real life examples, activities, projects, usage of visual and performing art, virtual tours, learning from nature etc. This contributes to student engagement, seeing the complexity of issues and grasping the idea of inter-connectedness.

Information Communication Technologies (ICT)

ICT in schools is mostly associated with digital classrooms and contents, however, Brahmavid's approach is to adapt the technology for school improvement and bring a global perspective.

We use the emerging information and communication technologies (ICT) to impart the required knowledge and skills to the students in the 21st century.

Brahmavid implements ICT into the curriculum in a number of ways, like including learning activities that promote higher-order thinking skills, which make use of all sorts of software and online project-based resources, in turn, teachers utilize non-traditional pedagogies and approaches.
